Ok, there is a couple of bugs that I need to fix but they are 'tolerable things'. My plan is to publish a public test server so you can create accounts this weekend, so I can fix possible bugs as soon as possible. Federation should work by this weekend (at least I hope so, basic functionality between servers seems to work). Stay tuned and expect bugs ⌛ :mastodon: :pixelfed:
I've been doing things with federation, some work and others don't. I need to keep working but progress for me is slow... I won't surrender but I need to charge batteries (this means work on adding functionalities and not touching AP for two weeks) . At this point doing this + studies is ?(winter is coming what means that exams are coming (sorry if I remembered that to you))
- The landing anfora.app is now hosted using ipfs - The mission for this weekend is add the necessary on the UI to handle comments and blocks/mutes - I'm considering optional support for ipfs - I want to stream while coding AP code for anfora https://www.twitch.tv/events/0g302vINSj2wgOHYj8nS7A
Ok, I've ordered a new mic. My idea is to prepare a livestream coding the federation on the 10th of November (Saturday). Not before because I've exams and things to prepare. I'll try to make it around 8PM CET so is more or less a good hour in europe and America. I'll post a remainder when the date arrives. What's your opinion?
Today was the "fix all the big bugs that you can find" day.
- Deleting statuses is not a problem - Header sign is working properly (AP issue) - The timelines on client don't have anymore a glitch on scrolling. - The new backend seems to work properly
It seems a that this one will be a good weekend! :blobcat:
This weekend I've made progress with reports, comments and likes. Almost ready. The big problem is oauth2. Seems like I would need to write more code than I thought, don't know if I'll get it done to the MVP release
This is the current status of the client and the server. I don't show notifications but they work too. The one thing to add is working comments but this will come later. I'm going with the admin UI now. At the end of the video you can see live timelines working
