Monthly reminder: currently, @elbinario offers the following services, all based on free software, for the use of anyone who needs them or wants to try, investigate, etc.:

- XMPP (encrypted instant messaging).
- Pad (collaborative documents).
- Mumble (audio conversations with good sound quality).
- Gitlab (collaborative software repository).
- Mailing lists.
- GNUSocial (micro-blogging social network).
- Blog (article posting).

The monthly expenses are only about 32 € per month. The team behind El Binario do not get any money; we do this because we want to provide the community with access to these free tools.

  Today marks 3 months on #Mastodon. The most delightful aspect for me is our high community engagement. On #Twitter I suspect my posts got buried. A journalist reached out last Fall to ask why I was shadow banned & I had to search what that meant. This place isn’t set up as a race for RTs & likes & posts aren’t typically composed to spark outrage. It feels like an ongoing conversation & I’m even getting to know some interesting new folks. At least, that’s been my experience. I like it here.

I've replied to you by email, but just in case, here it goes again:

Hi, and thanks for reporting the issue.
On one hand, Gnusocial AP implementation has its glitches; on the
other, I can see lxo posts arriving fine to other servers. Even with
push-based protocols as AP, the receiving server has to keep "alive"
copies of external profiles, which can (and do) fail sometimes. The
easiest way to try and fix this is for you to unfollow lxo, wait a
minute and then follow again; that should refresh his profile in your
server. Please, do tell me if, after a day or so, no new posts from lxo
arrive, so I can try other ways of fixing the issue.

@simsa04 Such a stressful experience... I got three more years just last september after my last year contract with the landlady telling me that she was selling the flat. Only that, one month before I had to go, she realized that she was not going to sell it (no one came to see it), so she extended the lease. I hope you have (at least) the same luck.
