Interesting… An issue with #publicBanking is how to choose who to lend to but a #nonLendingBank takes away that problem.

We've been saying for some time that to remain relevant in 21st century #banks could act more as a #recruitment service. They can aim to help a person find meaningful work — good for bank and #jobSeeker.

Also we think they should become #keystores for public #encryption keys.

Would that fit with your vision? If you don't mind, what country are you in?

We find that using TorBrowser and #I2P are important first steps.

Purging #Cloudflare and all website that use Cloudflare including #banks, is is another important step. In #TorBrowser hit Ctrl+Shift+E to bring up the Network Tab, by looking at the domains the websites use you'll quickly see which are Cloudflare by the "cf-ray" in the HTTP response. The Block Cloudflare MITM Attack (BCMA) plugin can help.

The #UBlockOrigin addon is used by #TailsOS in TorBrowser, so use it.

CivilLiberties are relative too, if you mean people cannot protest freely, there are ways that govts in the west suppress them too. And target individuals. Difference is you often don't have direct evidence, the suppression is online.@shmibs

@clackeWithout getting too bogged down, what we know and can say emphatically is the USA have been experts in subverting democracies, globally and at home, and here in Australia. We've seen so many methods.

So if its democracy someone wants, definately run in the opposite direction of wherever USA inject themselves.

The Chinese have their issues but they value community and harmony, we all know who the global aggressor and funder of expansionist wars has been for the past 100 years.
