    it is interesting to compare the commercial side of Pleroma verses the librem one fiasco.

    Pleroma makes investments in resources for the projects that are key to making a compelling solution (the Roma clients are variants that feature Pleroma-specific features that wouldn't be appropriate for upstreaming), by sponsoring development with $$$ and manpower.

    Purism so far just takes and, while complying with the GPL does not actually engage the ecosystem partners they are building their products from.

    did you know that in Mastodon, every time you use the web client with new localStorage it requests a new OAuth token?

    did you know that Mastodon mobile apps cannot be trusted to refresh the token?

    did you know Pleroma has to emulate this security hole for app compatibility?
