1) 82 kb and 105 kb. The error message stays the same. The last successful upload was https://gnusocial.net/notice/12514980 with file-size of 74 kb. So the problem is very recently. I tried different browsers but it happens there as well.
2) :-)) Hihi. It might be better to change the text of the error message to "Why don't you put that on your blog instead?" -

1) : No, the error message persists. (No jpg file can be added by me right now.)
2) Nice of you, thanks, but I think 1,200 or less suffice. Because with 1,500 characters, the same problem will reoccur in 2 weeks :-)

Hi there.
Two issues:
1) I cannot attach image files to notices. When done gs.net refuses to post with the error meassage "A file this large would exceed your user quota of 150000000 bytes"
2) When writing notices, I usally cannot use the whole number of characters but am cut short about 80 characters. I suppose it has something to do with the length of @-address (or reply) but I am not sure.
(I'd love to add screenshots but... I cannot attach them.) -

But do you really think it's the mention of "truth social"? The error message tells me, I cannot post this because of the link by huffpost. (And when I insert a blank into the link, I indeed can post the notice.) So it looks as if the website huffpost is blacklisted. And if that's the case, why? (I think I remember faintly that there had been issues with content on huffpost which made other instances block it. But I didn't expect gs.net to be one of these.) -

I have two weeks of vacation and finally came to sort out stuff stored in the cellar compartment. Went through decades-old notes from university and put most of them into the bin. I also winnowed books and stuff. Interesting how it feels much easier now than a few years back when memory urged me to keep all of it. Now that the memories wane and become detached from the objects, sorting out has become easier. It also shows how much and in what sense I've changed over the years. Not to the better, just to the different. -
