@hache @jk it is also my firmly held belief that this is why literally no video games "observer" UI is good other than the one for starcraft 2 that some people at MIT medialab made because they got annoyed at the default game UI not being very good for this because an observer UI needs to do entirely different things from what a game UI needs to do

maybe the thing they use at dota TI nowadays is good also, but that's a lot of stuff ON TOP of the default observer toolkit

@hache @jk tbh game UI design is so weird because like you can't make the UI _too_ good because then that maybe messes with the games difficulty / balance. but you still need to make the UI good. just it's an entirely different "good" compared to, say, excel or whatever
