p.s. why are tickets non-refundable. every single bus company will do refunds for credit up to the minute the bus leaves. yet the bahn, you want refunds? better pay the "flexpreis" (i.e. twice as much as the normal price, which they have the gall to call the "budget price")

I guess at least they don't make you enter your ID card no. to book anymore, and you can pay online without sending them a fax first these days (none of these things are jokes)

god I hate the german railways website so much

1) it has weird state for Some pages so sometimes a page will become invalid if you, say, need to recover your password

2) and don't you DARE take too long to do anything. no taking a wee or SESSION INVALID

3) the browser back button sometimes randomly does not work

4) it defaults to my (expired) credit card instead of paypal. every. single. time.

5) YOUR PASSWORD MUST CONTAIN fuck right off
