@impiaaa ya but these make sense. like it's just progressively more money and more benefits. youtubes is like uhh "shows up on your homepage more often, and also in the subscription list" and "shows up in a separate subscription list that isn't the actual subscription list" and like, ? ? ? ? ?
sometimes I remember that youtube has a "follow" button but then it also has an "follow but more powerfully" button because I guess one follow button was not enough. when will they introduce the third layer, the "actually follow for real this time" button?
Me: The self-reporting on this weather app is really responsive. I reported flurries just now and they adjusted their forecast.
Coworker: Does it let you report traffic cops in the area? Those are my favorite things to report
Me: :pika:
Coworker: All apps should let you report traffic cops
Coworker: It should just be a code snippet devs can pull into any app and it adds a little button that submits the user’s location and logs it into my traffic cop database
@keiyakins also, while the very early issues are interesting they are not necessarily very... good? contemporary? the series has very much grown and changed along with all of scifi, and societal attitudes.
@keiyakins hahaha, yeah. Though, while there IS a continuous plot, it is very much broken up into arcs of 100 issues each, that are mostly independent! I skipped about 2 years / 1 arc, and had no trouble resuming reading whatsoever!
There is also a really well maintained wiki, which helps
p.s. that's not a zero too many: Perry Rhodan, the worlds Largest Scifi Series, is about to reach 3000 issues published, at one 55ish pages issue per week, near uninterrupted since 1961.
