In the next release, you will be able to customize the split feature length between 500 and 3000 chars. #Fedilab
Well, Google already blocked the app update due a policy violation with their payment. I guess it's due to the link for donations ?
"Developers charging for apps and downloads from Google Play must use Google Play’s payment system."
But why their bot didn't block it before I published it, instead of blocking an update?
I appealed that decision. Let's see.
The new app release for Google is available here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.fedilab.android
I just added the BBCode support for #Pleroma.
@lanodan
Tootdon should be removed imo :) no longer maintained and it brings trackers. Also, their search feature keeps track of toots for one month in their server.
Mastodon list of apps is here: https://joinmastodon.org/apps
But some apps like @AndStatus should be listed too. Just my opinion ;)
@mmarif
I changed the lib.
Playlists support will be available in the next version of #PeerTube !
How To Get Started on Mastodon and Leave Twitter Behind
Close your Twitter account, delete your old Tweets, pack your bags, and head over to Mastodon's wild world of federated microblogging.

I created the bot that allows to suggest instances. You can test it by mentioning it at @fedvice
- You need to add a URL to the instance and keywords.
- It replies with the same privacy of your original message.
- You can remove your data simply by mentioning it with the word "delete" or "remove".
- It will guess the social network behind the host name.
- The next step will be to suggest instances thanks to keywords when it will have more data.

I published the release 1.75.0
What's new :
- Groups for #GNUSocial
- Conversation threads for #Friendica & GNU Social
- Change Peertube video format from other social networks
- Counters are clickable for reblog/fav to handle the click easily
- Toot button changed for Pleroma/GNU/Friendica
- Improvement of the custom share feature
Fixed
- Media not working with GNU and Friendica
- Usernames & names reversed for GNU & Friendica
#GNUSocial users will be able to use groups.
Group names will be clickable in posts for opening the corresponding timeline.
I added an entry in menu for an easy access to your groups.
I wil try to implement that on #Friendica when I will manage to make it work with the web app :)
Wow. I just release that the app didn't allow conversation threads for #GNUSocial and #Friendica users :blobpeek:
That's now fixed. #Fedilab
@agosto182 OK. It also solves a hidden issue. I merged it. Thanks for your contribution.
#Fedilab 1.74.0 has been released.
What's new:
- ad/tracking blocker for the built-in browser.
- Simplified login process.
- Console mode.
- Fix the authentication issue for #Friendica and #GNUSocial on some devices.
Just for fun, the next release of #Fedilab will have a console mode layout. It saves more space.
Accounts are still clickable through their names. And accounts for reblogs are between brackets and clickable too.
The color scheme will be improved.
I created a GoFundMe for helping me to buy the computer at https://www.gofundme.com/for-buying-a-new-computer-for-developing-fedilab
It's for a Librem 15 version 4 (Only if I get enough funds otherwise, any other ideas are welcomed). Thanks.
@diogo yes but what about previous ones?
@AndStatus
Thanks for the confirmation. I was surprised, but now it's work well. I will keep working on #GNUSocial
I notice that there are a lot of features that I will have to disable.
For endpoints, they all respect same parameters described in Twitter api?
I started to work on the #gnusocial api. I didn't know it uses an API similar to Twitter.
But I won't extend the app to Twitter, I don't want to deal with limits or to get crazy for having a developer account.
#gnusocial and #friendica would be enough.
