@Balor It doesn’t grow as quickly as you’d think. Fortunately! 😃 It seems to be closer to O(users). I honestly don’t know how many we federate with. I could get some raw numbers from SQL, but how many are still alive? I’m not sure. It’s probably reasonable to guess that we federate with 90% of existing multi-user servers, though: with about 4,000 users *someone* is bound to have talked to almost everyone.
There used to be great websites for that. I don’t know now.
If you use Debian: you're got getting the recent Intel CPU bugfixes because Intel updated the firmware package's license to state that it's not redistributable.
If use Linux other than Debian and have the bugfixes: ask your maintainers why they're distributing software they're not legally allowed to.
And in any case: next time you purchase a CPU, evaluate whether AMD might be a better choice than Intel.
