    @hakui Uuh… Mitsu’s video doesn’t play because the container metadata mention a custom substandard of MP4 (typically the “ftyp” chunk contains “mp41”, “mp42”, “avc1” or “isom”). The actual contents is in a format playable by browsers, so a simple manipulation on the video and reupload could make it playable.I don’t know your version of firefox, and depending on that MP4 playback may be supported by either ffmpeg, or gstreamer or a Cisco plugin.Arigatou.PaniPoni.Dash.Ep04.[x2…

    I remember the old Cambridge online dictionary as the only one that is useful and that sticks to the British norms of the language (mentioning AmE variants as AmE).Looking at Cambridge and Oxford dictionaries now, I can’t not remember the story with Mozilla and Google.Cambridge dictionary remains a fucked up page even if you turn adblock off and reload the page, while Oxford dictionary works even if you have adblock on, even without permissions for the main domain. ­cambridge online dictionary.png…oxford online dictionary.png

    @roka It’s about SEO and SMM (don’t ask me how people can put them together). I haven’t seen a machine that a company would use to check an editor’s job yet, but I heard they exist and are training.Basically it usually means that you’ll be managers’ bitch and your job is to flood the text with “enterpreneural accomplishments” and “neural networks crawling the outer space.”I’m actually afraid to think about that, but as business, being one of the least humane things in the world, puts less and less trust in the living people, it turns more towards using a new technology. When something is sold in the form of a product, it somehow automatically guarantees to the business people, that the decisions made by a robot, are valid a priori. Then they use dumb half-broken machines and tell real people: “Why you can’t do it like that? *This* is what we expect.”
