Well, this is an example of a "viral" disease that supposedly "kills": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herpesviral_encephalitisHowever it's not well understood. Because it magically selects 1 in 500,000 individuals per year, as a victim. And the disease is caused by a virus that a lot of people have, although "while the herpes virus can be spread, encephalitis itself is not infectious".????As you see, it's very hard not seeing virology as a bloody joke.
