it should be noted that pleroma is not a miracle cure for your problems in mastodon.

there are some behaviours in pleroma that are, intentionally, quite different from mastodon.

pleroma is not, and never will be, a drop-in replacement for mastodon. this is because it was designed by an entirely different group of people and community, instead of the BDFL model used with mastodon.

if you want a mastodon replacement that has the same open governance philosophy we have with pleroma, look at glitch-soc or maybe in the future, something like florence.

because if you come from mastodon expecting pleroma to be the same, just "better," you're likely to be disappointed.
