     @hj @Moon so 4+time, but a snapshot? :Pthe point is that time traditionally counts as a dimension, so "actual 4D space" would be what we're in4+time means that time is not counted in the 4

     @Moon @hj @toast yeh, it's all just a way of modelling stuff that seems convenient, pretend it stretches "forwards and backwards" and can bend around like the other dimensions do, why closed timelike curves are a thing, at least in the modelsknow einstein's stuff is not quite reality somehow, but it's benri

     @Moon Because they have nice sphere packing compared to other dimensional spaces. 3D and other dimensions have shitty sphere packing. We live in a shitty dimensional space.
