@vriska maybe like relying on interrupts rather than syscalls... wonder a person can train-to-change, like how it works with vision, that"drawing on the left side of the brain" book, kinda eh on neuroscience it is but the training how to see things so can envision them, "mind's eye" thing, does actually workswitch from thinking in abstract symbols and then auto-exporting them to seeing more directlynot that there's some "ideal" that a person "ought to train towards"; just wondering about the process and how it means the self is arranged, trying to write about this stuff right now a bit, so thanks for answering ^^2021-1618080961.png

@cell @vriska what about games? don't play things much, but have noticed when there are lots of moving-things-on-the-screen, here will go into a sort of unfocussed mode and see with all-peripheral vision rather than pointed focus. means faster reaction times, but also gives me a headache every time, which doesn't seem to be a problem other people have?

@shmibs @vriska it's kinda like when you're reading a book and the words on the page just disappear and you're imagining the stuff going on the text without being consciously aware of the text

@shmibs @vriska the easiest way to get myself lost in my head is by...walkingworst thing i know but for some reason i can safely put the actual visual information that comes from my head in autopilot while the imagination takes over
