it kinda bothers me that every single ad I hear/see that starts with "<something something eating better>" ends with "to lose weight!" like ah hmm I guess what I dislike about my body is what everyone is striving towards...

@shibao yeah I need to stop being so sedentary (got some weights yesterday actually) and also really try hard on eating consistently

@nik @shibao if you can get out and walk a few miles a day that makes a huge difference just in itselflike walking and bus rather than car to work

@nik nah its just the more uncommon problem...maybe you just need to drink more United Nations™ corn syrupjkjk but i spent a long time thinking "ah i can eat like shit and not train I just have to change the amount I eat to stay at a certain weight" but after seeing my bf I'm realizing I need way more muscle and better proportions of fat to muscle to be truly healthy, skinnyfat just doesn't cut it.the good thing about your weight is that you can build up from where you are now instead of most obese people needing to lose a bunch of weight before they can start trying to build muscle.

@shmibs @shibao yeah, bus is extremely shit here though unfortunately that it's not worth dealing with it even for walk, could just walk errands and stuff ig

@nik @shibao yeh, previous "daily-commute" here was between 1.5 and 2 hours

@shmibs @shibao it just literally takes an hour (the bus itself, not including walking) for a car drive that is 15 minutes
