     @Hyolobrika @PaterSnape @shmibs my feeling is if television/movie producers want to improve representation they should hire more minorities to make movies and television but that would mean replacing themselves

     @Hyolobrika @shmibs @PaterSnape even with more minority representation blacks are overrepresented and hispanics are underrepresented, groups like asians and indians are almost invisible. it's trend-following. I am speaking generally of television and not disney specifically.

     @Moon @Hyolobrika @PaterSnape mmm, just kinda bizarre to me how that works, have one group shouting "they're representing things i don't want represented!", and another group not actually representing things, just getting money, and then the "underrepresented" groups remain "underrepresented" forever while also taking beating from the first angry one making laws and things to punish them

Bioleninism dictates that minority groups are more important the more dysfunctional they are, so BLM and trans rights go straight to the top even when shoring up Hispanic support makes way more political and demographic sense.
