     @nosleep wait what? so credit score determines your worth to rent? here in asia its so much simpler, your skin color determines if you’re worthy for living space

     credit score came in handy yet again. potential landlord screened me and i got a pretty good transunion residentscore. kind of funny how they make both tenants and landlords pay for the service, though. transunion gets to make money on both ends of the transaction, and they literally don't do any additional work (other than maybe a database query)
