@changeling @eris @megan @rizzo I'm not trying to do a no u argument, I'm just saying if you look, they keep having lockdowns because the virus keeps coming back even after they completely eradicate it in areas. China is proof that you can be as strict as you can possibly be and you won't stop it.

@changeling @eris @megan @rizzo I'm also not trying to say nothing should be done, I'm saying it's a hell of a lot harder than just more vaccinations and more lockdowns. if there is not a full-stop complete cure invented, things are going to have to fundamentally change, everywhere.
