    @simsa04 So your theory is that the U.S. doesn't call Vietnam, Iraq, or Afghanistan (or wars sometimes) because it would cause their people to realize they don't have athurotiy over others?

    @simsa04 When I subscribe to !gnusocial from my instance it just shows up as an RSS Feed, gnusocial.net/api/statusnet/gr… not a group like !helpers

    @administrator @simsa04 do you have a recommendation on the best way to folllow gnusocial v3 development? trying to follow the links from gnu.org seems to result in a web of blackholes.

    @administrator @simsa04 @lohang that's actually not true. There may be a limitation on mastodon but I can follow #GNUsocial groups from my #Friendia account. I know the #FriendicaForum (basically the same functionality as a group on gnusocial) I manage has partcipants on it from Mastodon. They achieve this by simply do a remote follow the handle of the group as if it is a regular mastodon user @forumname@instance.extenstion. My understanding is they don't get the full forum experience, every post just looking like the groupuser is retooting everything, but it seems to work for them. What happens if you try to follow @rain@gnusocial.net?

    #FamilyMan been married for >14 years and have two daughters. Those three girls are my greatest love on this planet.I consider myself a #GNU Evangelist. Learning about what #FreeSoftware was, including GNU/Linux, opened my eyes to so many things: governments aren't the only ones stealing individual rights, I know so much less about computers than I thought I did, the idea of code, I can make a difference without having to know anyone particular.
