@qrsbrwn @coolboymew @lanodan @shebang @tuxcrafting hi; i'm not a young white menand don't see a problem, personally. some deterrence comes from the mostly-guys-and-high-percentage-of-autism yielding long, pointless internet argument threads like this one, but people like that need somewhere to be too, and the world of "mostly women and heavy reliance on intuition" is just as much a deterrence to them. if anything is wrong here it's two-sided, neither able to relate well to / communicate well with people differentgetting past that divide, though, the people involved in foss are generally far more tolerant of / willing to discuss different ideas than any other group i can think of, avoiding the taboo and shaming that causes monocultures (and suicide) everywhere elsealso, why would women in the military be a good thing?
