     @aab They've helped spread all kinda of information, including mundane things like selling or giving away unused items. The papers sometimes didn't publish even reasonable letters to the editor. Now everyone can get published for free, including conspiracy theorists who in the past would have handed out fliers or just groused to themselves. I don't want the old world of gatekeepers.

     @aab I really like #Mastodon and the Internet, i.e. not centralized social media. I like that racists can set up an instance and have a high-quality platform talk to one another, and I don't have to read it or have it disrupt normal conversations.
     You seem like a native speaker of English. Español es mi segundo idioma. Me cuesta mucho más trabajo hablar español que inglés.

   Una forma de saber que perteneces a un colectivo estigmatizado es observar que si le dices que eres trans a tus padres contactan con servicios sociales, buscan ayuda, van a un psicólogo, les cuesta entenderte etc. pero si dices que eres criptobro, incel, un alfa/sigma etc. no te preocupes que nadie va a levantar el teléfono para nada.

      @altaveu Parece que no es una imagen, sino un enlace. Aquí (Gnusocial) sí lo muestra, en Mastodon parece que hay que pinchar para que te lleve a la imagen.

      @jorge No me parece ninguna tontería. Tendría que ser configurable para que sólo publicara mensajes cuando empieza un programa; si publicara también las canciones sería un flood brutal.
      Vamos, un "sonando ahora" de los que puedes encontrar en las webs de las radios, que publicara cuándo suena (o está apunto de sonar) un programa. Me gusta :)

      @marcelcosta @aab @fanta la idea sería por ejemplo que castopod este cada vez que se empieza una emisión de algo publicara un activitypub indicando el nombre, URL del Stream etc
      La peña tendríamos un tuskyradio que al recibirlo nos permitiria reproducirlo desde esa misma app
      
      Un cliente Mastodon por ejemplo vería un content con los textos y la URL pero así sin más no sería más que eso, una URL
      
      Tengo tantas tonterías en la cabeza ....
