@mewmew@jeremiah@Moon That’s exactly what they said about Clinton, though. I think Trump has definitely suffered some loss of support recently, but he still has his base, who are passionate enough to go to the polls. There’s no passion on Biden’s side… but maybe desperation is enough. We’ll see. Either way I don’t think it’s cut and dry.
@boob@Moon@jeremiah@mewmew There’s a part of me that definitely doesn’t want Trump to win, because I think he’s driving the country into the ground. On the other hand, I wonder if people deserve to suffer under Trump a little more after they nominated JOE BIDEN, total loser, can’t even fold his laundry much less run a country. What a joke man. We’ve stooped really low to accept this.
@Moon Right, that’s the popular belief. But I think it’s arbitrary discrimination. Why are they in different moral spheres? For example, people usually say “well a cow isn’t as smart as a human” but then “okay, but it’s fucked up to kill a severally mentally retarded person” (even if they have a similar intelligence as a cow), followed by “it’s never okay to kill a dog for any reason.”
Definitely one of the most wtf things I’ve seen in Elixir so far. Apparently this for-loop generates a new function for each possible HTTP status so it works like a reverse lookup of the map on the left, converting a reason phrase into a status code.
@feld I installed Pleroma recently and the installer says “Do you want to manage config in the database? [y/N]” and I’ve been thinking the default should definitely be yes for 2.1 but keep forgetting to make the MR
@issdeinschnitzel I'm getting major V for Vendetta vibes from the whole thing.I get that this isn't black and white. But it's being handled so badly. The government is escalating the conflict. It only makes them look as authoritarian as the protesters say they are.
