@shmibs @hfaust @kaia is it because someone already did the vetting for you?
-
@kaia @hfaust can confirm, paid for a "I'll be your facebook girlfriend for a month" as a joke (could tell more about that later) and suddenly I was getting attention from actual girls
-
@ChristiJunior @Dude people I trust who claim to have direct interactions with him in the past tell me that he was inappropriately grabby at cons. Obviously I can't prove that.

I did it. I saw another post asking for help and I helped them too.maybe they'll squander the money but that doesn't change my duty to administer aid. it's not like they're running a drag-queen story hour, they're just on the other side of the rainbow curtain.

> "People rejecting vaccine mandates do so by choice," he said. "There are many regulations in modern life. All the other vaccines are also mandatory. Clothing is mandated by law. Licenses and related training courses and tests are mandated for driving, cutting hair, practicing medicine. Car insurance is a requirement. Some jobs require uniforms. All of these policies have rational bases. There are consequences for any infraction, just as there is for vaccine refusers." Interesting equivalence

Anyway doesn't this argument work for AIDS? Couldn't you say "if you got AIDS because you didn't wear a condom we're not paying for your extremely expensive medical care"
-
@shmibs @allison I found a direct comparison between the two GPUs and they were close to the same so I'm probably OK either way. the Intel is a couple years newer and probably has the best drivers since Intel makes them completely free then puts them into Linux kernel themselves
