@lis I think I've stopped using CR since ~2017. From the quality of their translation, to their "localization" BS, I've decided it's not worth dealing with them anymore.
@shmibs@Moon@lain In my cron script I had set --post-hook to "systemctl reload nginx" on the certbot command. It didn't do anything when the renewal was done, which pretty much meant that one day I got a certificate expiry error and had to restart nginx so that it wasn't presenting the old certificate.Which pretty much meant that --post-hook did absolutely nothing.
@shmibs@Moon@lain I literally made a cronjob for that and one day the cert expired on me. Had to restart nginx manually to get it to use the new certs.
@duponin@roka I just think that we don't have to sacrifice aesthetics to have a leaner interface. Nitter and Brutaldon are examples that don't look ugly while having minimal to no JS.
@duponin it's an optional frontend for Pleroma that can be enabled by the admin of the instance. It requires no JavaScript to use. Unfortunately it also doesn't have much functionality and it looks pretty ugly.
@quad@tuxcrafting@georgia from what I heard the agreements the OEMs have with Microsoft forbids them from shipping a barebones system with no OS on it or at the very least it forbids them from getting the volume discount on windows licenses.
