@thatguyoverthere @Hyolobrika @shmibs I want to be snarky and say that information doesn't really flow freely in centralized systems either (see: any workplace) and you can't trust info in a centralized system either (see: any workplace) but I have implemented large parts of bittorrent which is a distributed decentralized system and you find out really quick how hard it is to do anything when nobody trusts anybody

@shmibs @Hyolobrika @mjdxp true but we are dealing with two extremes lol I think the government should do almost nothing and op thinks it should do almost everything. Also I agree that inaction is an active state, that's like a basic thing you have to get in zen and understanding that has been useful. There is a tightrope because on one hand inaction reinforces the current system but on the other active opposition to a thing also paradoxically perpetuates the current system by accepting its frame. I suspect ideal way to "progress" is leave a lot of room for people to organize voluntarily and try stuff. Not always right but the right default.

@Hyolobrika @mjdxp absence of healthcare doesn't kill you, a disease kills you. sort of like how an absence of cops doesn't kill you, a killer kills you. by the above method anything can be argued as essential to life and subject to state control.
