@lain yeah the richest people in germany work 9 to 5 and pay income tax

@lain seriously though, i don’t pay the taxes, my employer does, progressive income tax is basically taxing employers for paying their employees better, the higher the wages the more you need to put extra in to make your positions attractive for employees

@quad tbh they should just get their shit together and hold the rental companies responsible, the same discussion is happening in germany and somehow they are trying to twist the interpretation of the law into being “unclear” even though there are decades of precedents with rental cars, where the owner is responsible for making sure only qualified, sober & reliable people drive their vehicles.

i wonder how much investor money the scooter companies are spending on “lobbying” to the politicians shilling this bullshit
